MEDIA: Purpurina para Todos

This is a selection of drawings by kindergarten students (between 5 and 8 years old) in the Rocinha shantytown. The theme of the essay was Violence In Rio de Janeiro.  

"All lies are true in Rio de Janeiro, all animals are human in Rio de Janeiro, all Cariocas are gods in Rio de Janeiro. I, who do not believe in God, believe that Rio de Janeiro is a kind of catalyst for God in us. How is it that song about glitter? "If a light doesn't shine / There's no way to shine." Sadness comes out, what I take from Rio doesn't weigh in the luggage."
