Rafael Fabrés (Madrid,1982), is a Spanish photographer.  

He attended University and completed a degree in Media Comunications (UEM), a master degree in Photography (EFTI) and Cinematography (ESCAC). Between 2010 and 2017 he has been based in Latin and Central America focused on long term photographic projects.  

His work leans toward a personal approach that moves away from the descriptive narrative tradition in documentary photography. His photos have appeared in publications such as TIME, The New York Times, Der Spiegel, El Pais Semanal, Paris Match, Le Monde, L'Express, De Volkskrant or Gatopardo. His work has been exhibited in the United States, France, Italy, Brasil and Spain. CV. 

"Cafuné" is his first monograph of photography, gathering 7 years of work as a photographer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
